Communal Penance Services are scheduled during Advent and Lent.

Sacrament of the Sick
Intended for the strengthening and healing of those who are ill and elderly, the Sacrament of Anointing may be celebrated in homes, hospitals or in the parish church. Communal celebrations are held at various times of the year. Please notify the Parish Center if anyone close to you is sick, homebound or in need of prayers.

Funerals
The family of the deceased will meet with one of the priests to assist in planning the funeral liturgy. 

Grupo de Oracion (Spanish Prayer Group)
Spanish speaking parishioners gather on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. for prayer, praise, testimony and sharing of scripture. Families are welcomed.

Holy Hour
Every Thursday, the parishioners gather for an hour of prayer before the Eucharistic devotion. This is held in the church at 8:00 p.m.

Small Faith Communities
This is a gathering of parishioners which offers everyone an opportunity to share their faith and experience God's fervent love for all through sharing, reading of Sacred Scripture and prayers.

Liturgy Commission
The Liturgy Commission is responsible for planning the gatherings of prayer during the Liturgical year. Planning seeks to be inclusive of the various cultural and ethnic groups within the parish. The commission coordinates the activities of the following liturgy committees:

  1. Art & Environment:  Responsible for ensuring that the church's sanctuary and surroundings are creatively and artistically prepared for the liturgical season.
     

  2. Eucharistic Ministry: Assist with the distribution of Communion. Training sessions are held periodically throughout the year.
     

  3. Ministry of the Word:  Lectors proclaim the scripture at liturgies. Training sessions are held throughout the year.
     

  4. Liturgy of the Word for Children:  The church offers Gospel readings, significance of the mass and concise image of the teachings to children of early age (during the 8:45 and 10:15 masses). Kindergarten through 5th grade students are welcome.

  5. Ushers:  Responsible for being hospitable, assisting with collections and other needs that arise during worship.
     

  6. Altar Servers: Assist at the weekend masses. Open to boys and girls, age 10 or older.
     

  7. Altar Society:  Responsible for the care and cleanliness of the church.
     

  8. Music Ministry: Music is central to our life of worship. The ministry is exercised by the assembly; however individuals with musical abilities and/or desire are invited to participate as cantor, musicians or choir members.

       Choirs          Rehearsal Times:
      
    8:00 Mass     Wednesday evenings 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
       9:30 Mass      Spanish, Fridays 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
      

Youth Choir: Sings at 11:00 mass, every Sunday of the month.

Cantors: Rehearsals are arranged with the Music Director.
