Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is primarily an advisory or consultative body for our pastor. It is responsible for seeing the bigger picture of the parish. Its work embraces all the pastoral dimensions of the parish. In addition to doing long range planning, the council members deal with whatever pastoral concerns the pastor brings before them.

Membership in the council provides an opportunity to a group of parishioners to share the initiative and responsibility in developing the parish as a Christian community by encouraging and promoting apostolic activities to enhance its spiritual growth.

The council works together with parishioners, staff members, committees, ministries and organizations to carry out the vision of the parish stated in the Parish Mission Statement.

Council members serve for a 3-year term. New members are commissioned each year through a discernment process. The Pastoral Council meets at the Parish Center on the second Tuesday of each month.
